In the initiatory process, there is an allegory of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. This allegory represents the spiritual transformation and growth of the initiate as they pass through different stages, enduring trials and tests over time. The first point of transformation is the preparation phase. At this stage, the initiate is like a caterpillar, learning and growing, slowly reaching their potential. The initiate seeks knowledge, wisdom, and guidance from their instructor to help in future stages of the process. The second point of transformation is entering the cocoon, symbolized by the initiate's willingness to face their fears, let go of ego, and surrender to the pursuit of growth and self-discovery. This step requires true dedication and pure intention, as the initiate starts to shed their old self and embrace the new. During the cocoon phase, the initiate undergoes purification and refinement of their thoughts, feelings, and intents.
